About the project

This is our first joint project with the creator of the capital’s restaurants, Vladimir Perelman. We quickly came to an agreement that the virtual tour should be on Vladimir’s website.

how we did it

Task

Digitize the restaurant so that guests, before visiting the restaurant, can virtually view it and select a table for booking.

Execution

For this project we chose Matterport technology. Thanks to this, we were able to accurately recreate the 3D model of the object. Now guests can see the exact table locations and make reservations in advance.

Result

After integration into the Customer’s website, we noticed positive dynamics of the site. A significant number of visitors come to view the virtual tour.

The project to create a virtual tour for a restaurant involves creating an interactive 3D modeling of the room that can be viewed from any device, including a VR headset. 

To begin the project, we needed to laser scan the restaurant to create panoramic photographs that would then be used to create a 3D model. Then the photographs are processed and assembled into a single whole to get a complete picture of the room.

We then put together an interactive 3D model that allows users to walk through the entire restaurant, explore every corner and explore all the menu offerings. 

For the customer, creating a virtual tour for provides the following advantages:

1. Attracting new clients. A virtual tour attracts new customers who want to experience a restaurant before visiting it in real life.

2. Increased sales. A Matterport tour allows diners to experience the restaurant's menu and interior, which can lead to increased sales.
